View Units

All of our units have a woodburning stoves with glass fronts so you can enjoy watching the fire without fear of sparks flying. We supply you with a stove lighter, fire starter and wood. The kitchenettes are fully outfitted and have a 4-burner stove, apartment sized refrigerator, double stainless steel sink, microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. The cookware is stainless steel and we have a borrowing list of specialty baking items. You have a full set of dishes, and glassware including wine glasses. You only need to bring the food. We supply the towels and linens and also provide you with environmentaly sensitive soap, shampoo, and handcream. In addition to the above amenities each unit has a private phone with a voice message system, TV with cable and HBO plus a VCR and DVD players and a CD player/alarm clock in the bedroom. We also have high speed wireless internet access available.

Our "Lodge" consists of 6 separate buildings on a one acre wooded lot. Four of the buildings (#1, 3, 8, 9) are private "stand-alone" cozy cabins.

Cabin #8

These were built in the mid-1950's and Marta describes them as charmingly rustic. They have all the amenities of today yet have retained the cozy atmosphere of an earlier time. There is real pine paneling and exposed wooden beams. Cabins 1, 3 and 8 are 2-bedrooms, cabin 9 is a 1-bedroom unit.

One building contains four units (4, 5, 6, 7) that we refer to as suites. Suites 6 and 7 are located on the second floor and have a nice view, through the pine trees, of the Sierra Mountains. Suites 4 and 5 are on the ground floor for easy access. These four suites are newer than the cabins with woodpaneled walls for that "cabin atmosphere". All are one bedroom units with king size beds. There is an internal door between suites four and five - a great choice for larger families or groups.

The main building houses two additional units on the first floor. Suite 2 is located to the left of the office. This suite is smaller than 4, 5, 6, 7 but still provides all of the amenities. Unit 10, located behind the office is a cozy sleeping room with a double bed and private bathroom.
